Community Devastated After Ferry Landing Burns Down

The River Road in Lutcher will never quite be the same since the Ferry Landing burned down early last Thursday morning. The former home that was converted into a vendors market/café by Andy and Kerri Tramonte housed 68 various vendors and there was a waiting list to get a spot. The main building completely burned and the brick building in front of the home (used by vendors and a fabrication business) was also a total loss. Firefighters fought the blaze for several hours and thankfully no one was injured, burned or killed.
