A court case involving a custody exchange that went south and ended with a police office being bitten recently came to a close as a St. James Parish jury found a Paulina man guilty of Battery of a Police Officer and a Judge sentenced the man to five-years (with credit for time served) in prison.
On November 8, 2022, registered voters in St. James Parish will go to the polls and cast their votes for several elected positions; and who and what candidates they will chose from will be decided this Friday afternoon when qualifying officially closes at 4:30 p.m.
