Miss St. James Parish Pageant To Be Held On July 30th
The St. James Parish Sugar Queen Committee is proud to announce that on Saturday, July 30th, 2022, we will be celebrating our 69th annual Miss St. James Parish Pageant and our 30th annual Teen Miss St. James Parish. Eight girls from across the parish will compete in the St. James Parish Pageant at St. James Parish Community Center located at 5775 Hwy. 44 in Convent across from St. James Parish Courthouse at 6:00 pm.
Non-faculty Coaches Are A Fast Growing Trend In The High School Ranks
It has been 24-years since the Louisiana High School Athletic Association voted to approve non-faculty assistant coaches in all sports and at the time high school principals were looking for a way to combat a coaching shortage.

In celebration of his return to Louisiana as a New Orleans Saint, NFL superstar and former Lutcher High standout receiver Jarvis Landry surprised 100 youth with a road trip to the Saints Practice Facility for the Sixth Annual Jarvis Landry Giveback.
