The Winbush-Chriswell Scholarship Foundation’s scholarship applications are now available in Lutcher High School counselor office, churches in Lutcher, Gramercy and Paulina or from any member.
The LSU AgCenter, West St. James Farm Bureau, and East St. James Farm Bureau will sponsor the Home Vegetable Garden Contest this spring for adults and 4-H / youth. They will also sponsor Tomato Field Day which will be held in mid-May 2024.
Louisiana Federal Credit Union (FCU) joined forces with OnPath Federal Credit Union to host a Shred Day event on March 16. The collaboration between the two credit unions drew crowds from across the community to the Belle Terre branch of Louisiana FCU. The event, which was free for all participants, led to the shredding of 9,000 pounds of paper and the recycling of 1,500 pounds of electronic waste in just two hours.
On Thursday, April 11th at 6:00 p.m., St. James Councilman Ryan Louque, Parish President Peter Dufresne, and St. James Parish staff members will host a Community Meeting at Grace Church of Paulina.
